Biography

Lindley Myers joined the CFFACE team in July of 2012, having been a Trainer and Consultant with the NC State Training Partnership since 2004. She has been working with children and families since 1991 in roles including residential care, case management and community support. From direct service Lindley moved into administrative positions, leading the development of a new Community-Based Intervention program and supervising an Intensive Case Management team. In these leadership roles she was able to explore the use of multi-disciplinary teams, which solidified her commitment to the value of partnership. Acting as the Training and Curriculum Coordinator for a seven-county System of Care project created the opportunity for Lindley to move into curriculum development and training delivery where she had the privilege of collaborating with partners from social services, mental health, juvenile justice and the schools. It also provided the opportunity to consult with other SOC projects in North Carolina and Arkansas. Participating in North Carolina’s successful child welfare reform efforts provided additional opportunities to consult. Lindley has partnered to design and deliver training geared to supporting Differential Response Systems in Connecticut and Ohio. Lindley has presented at both state and national conferences. Her experience exploring individual and organizational growth and transformation informs her current focus on developing skilled practitioners of family-driven service delivery utilizing Child and Family Teams, Intensive In-Home Services and culturally responsive community-based support programs.
